3. Mandatory registration in specific circumstances (sec 24)-

  • Individuals who make any taxable supplies between states
  • Individuals who are casually taxable but make taxable supplies
  • Individuals who must pay taxes under reverse charge
  • Individuals who must pay taxes under section 9 subsection (5)
  • Non-resident taxable persons giving taxable supplies
  • Individuals who must deduct taxes under section 51, whether or not they are separately registered under this act

  • Any other individual or group of individuals that the government may notify in response to the Council’s recommendations

4. Documents Needed for GST Registration in Delhi

1. For a Sole Proprietor or Individual-

  • Aadhaar card and PAN of the owner.
  • Owner’s photo (up to 100 KB in size, in JPEG format).
  • Information about a bank account.

2. For LLP and partnership firm-

  • Every partner’s PAN card, including the managing partner’s and the authorized signatories.
  • A copy of the partnership deed and a JPEG file with a maximum size of 100 KB of each partner’s and authorized signatories’ photo.
  • Verification of partners’ addresses (passport, driver’s license, voter ID card, Aadhar card, etc.)
  • The authorized signatory’s Aadhar card; documentation of their appointment; and, in the event of an LLP, the registration certificate or LLP board resolution
  • Bank account information
  • Proof of address for the main place of business

3. For Hindu Undivided Family-

  • HUF’s PAN card
  • Karta’s PAN and Aadhar card

4. For Private Limited/ Limited/ One person company-

  • PANCARD of a one-person, limited, or private firm.
  • All PAN cards of directors, including those of the managing director and authorized signatories.
  • Certificate of Incorporation, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
  • Authorized signatures and a photo of each director (in JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 100 KB).
  • The Aadhaar card, email address, and phone number of the authorized signatory.

THE GST REGISTRATION PROCESS
